Do you believe in magic? I do, but let me take a step back. If you would have asked me several months ago, I would have said no. Several months ago, I would have said that events occur either out of pure coincidence or could be explained using logic and reason. However, something amazing happened recently and I can only describe the experience as magical.
I found the magic in my words. Something extraordinary happened when I decided to finally share my words with someone. I made a magical connection. And I whole-heartedly believe that this new connection started a self-transformation that was building up inside of me, but couldn’t find a way out because I was so shut off to the world. And all I had to do was open up and share.
See, when you share your life experiences with others you’ll soon discover that you’re not alone on this crazy adventure. This world is full of negative energy that, overtime, this energy consumes our very soul. So of course, it only makes sense that we, in turn, become negative and contribute to the spread of this negativity. This negativity manifests in us as anxiety and irrational fear. And this anxiety and irrational fear prevents us, or tries to prevent us, from doing things like connecting with one another or simply doing things that we find enjoyable.
Someone told me something that really resonated with me yesterday. “The first step is making the connection. The second step is magic.” Let me say it again because this is very important for you to hear and understand. “The first step is making the connection. The second step is magic.”
When you find these connections, you will experience a positive energy that was unbeknownst to you. These connections will slowly start to change the way you perceive everything and anything. These connections will make you question all that you knew to be true. This energy is amazing and all you have to do is be brave, have courage, and share your words. Someone out there needs to hear them, but if you keep them locked away, you’re doing yourself and those connections a great injustice.
I know that it’s easier said than done. I also know that you are brave, courageous, kind, and empathetic. Once you realize that you are all of those things and more then I encourage you to open up. I can only imagine the great people I didn’t meet because I was so determined to keep everything bottled up. Yes, it’s scary, but you’re already anxious right? So… what do you have to lose?
Remember, the first step is making the connection. The second step is magic.
Go find your magic!
